Ahhhhhhhh! please help this deco challanged woman! window treatments...?
ok, so i have my bedroom, and im thinking zen, peacefull, feng shui... painted the walls a blueish gray that actually turned out alittle darker than i wanted..anyway.. so i need window treatments.. something that will keep alot of sun out (my hubby works nights) BUT is also light in color... because the paint is alittle dark.... something cool...not grandma like, ya know? i need help! thank you sooooooooooooooooo much!
and no, i havnt picked out bedding yet...
I would choose privacy blinds in two pieces, one for letting light in and keeping the room private, and the other for blocking out the light altogether. These would be in a lighter colour. OR I would choose verticals with one side dark [for sleeping during the day] and the other side light for when awake and letting light in. I would NOT put curtains of any kind up as they close the room in, are dust collectors and not necessary for a lovely room. Good luck!
