I also thought of The English Patient when I opened the box. Sometimes my sets of chimes are too loud when it is breezy but these are perfect. Even in strong wind they sound delicate. I’m a little worried about how they will weather but if I just get a season from them it is a good price. Woodstock are usually high quality.

When I lifted these out of the box and unwrapped them I was instantly recalling the opening scenes from “The English Patient”. What lovely bells these are. They are pretty to see and make a delicate, tinkling kind of sound. The image in this product listing doesn’t do the chimes justice.
