Now I need you to rethink a stereotype. Crystals. Yes, they look good on jewellery and yes drinking wine from them is an especially opulent experience, but the Chinese have had a use for crystals for generations for more than their aesthetic appeal. Introducing the feng shui crystal.

What Can Feng Shui Crystals Do?

This is a wondrous item that can heal the wounds of emotional scarring, create energy to bring in luck and fortune and to improve the overall health, mental and physical of anyone wielding them. In Chinese art and science, feng shui crystals are tools that dampen chaos and unleash bad energy, creating calm and peace around us so that we are more in tune with nature.

Crystals come in various shapes and sizes, as well as different forms. The earth produces natural crystals; you can spot them easily by their imperfect surfaces and often cloudy appearances. There are crystals that have fallen from the sky (not the stuff of fiction, but probably meteors compressed by extreme heat) and those produced in a laboratory.

Crystals have an inherent current flowing through them, an enforced energy that runs through their sub structure like electricity. Scientists call this the piezoelectric effect - a sort of minute vibrations that are testament to the crystals energy. This amazing fact about crystals is just that - undeniable scientific fact, and it is this effect that gives these natural jewels their uncanny power, a power that the Chinese have tapped upon to great benefit.

What are the Benefits of Crystals?

Healing and improving energy might be just too general a description for you readers so I will get into the specifics of their amazing abilities. For example, in Feng Shui, rose quartz crystals are used specifically to enhance the energies of love and emotion, enhancing and improving the love and romance of two people. It can also mend the scars of a broken heart. It is these vibrations, these piezoelectric effects with specific regularities of currents that resonate with matters of the heart.

Ammonite crystals, which are more often associated with the 'Chi Lin' a strange and wondrous ancient creature that emanates with good and healthy energy. This is because the patterns and intricate designs of the crystal closely match that of the creature and this crystal has frequencies that affect the most powerful muscle in the body - the brain. Wisdom is a common benefit of using these crystals and some Chinese masters have also attributed it to riches, prosperity as well as the ability for mothers to bear illustrious and strong sons.

Speaking about wealth, natural starlite citrine spheres are a great choice if you want to increase your wealth energies. Citrine attracts wealth luck into your life. They are also known to be able to enhance your self-esteem, motivation, creativity and confidence.

This brief overview is simply that - an overview. You should do more research and ask around for more advice and tips on feng shui crystals because the range and the possibilities for improving your life through crystals are wide and far reaching. Now that the jewels of Chinese luck creation have come to Western shores, you should get a piece of the action today.

If you are looking to get the most out of your studying area, you'll find that one thing that you can tap into is what the art of Feng Shui has to offer you. Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of balance and harmony, and you'll find that by integrating these principles into the design of the room that you or your child has chosen to study in, you'll be able to make a great deal of improvements in your studies.

When you are looking to make sure that a room is conductive to the art of studying and for the assimilation of information, you'll find that there are several things to keep in mind. This is especially so if you want to apply Feng Shui for study room.

Feng Shui Study Room Tip#1

Start by making sure that the study room is tidy. Studying in an untidy room can be quite distracting, so make sure that the room itself is clean and calm. Don't leave things that are not necessary for studying strewn on the desk.

Take some time to make sure that everything has a proper place to sit, and look for broad expanses of clear space. This will give you plenty of room to work on the finer points of Feng Shui for better studying. Look for ways to keep the study desk itself as bare as you can, because that will help with focus.

Feng Shui Study Room Tip#2

Another thing that you will need to examine is how the study station is situated. This can help you determine how you want to set up the room, so make sure that you pay attention to it. First, remember that the desk of the person who is studying should be placed so that the window is to the left of the desk, if at all possible.

If there is no window there, hang a mirror instead, which can act in much the same way. Make sure that for the best results that the desk does not have the person who is sitting at it with their back to the door, as this can affect their concentration.

Feng Shui Study Room Tip#3

To give the room an open and inviting look, take a look at adding a wind chime or a plant near the window. You'll find that in Feng Shui lore that this can prevent bad luck and bad influences from coming in through the window. Using bamboo or cactus in this place can add some extra protection there and it can help keep you or whoever is studying there sharply focused. You also might find that a wind chime can be a great tool to brighten up the room and to invite in positive influences.

There are plenty of reasons to think about making sure that your study area is compliant when it comes to Feng Shui. Applying Feng Shui for study room can have a surprising effect on your studying experience. You'll find that there are plenty of things that you can do to make it a welcoming place that you enjoy studying in, so take some time to think about what you can do. Remember that Feng Shui can help you liven up the entire room

Seniors what do you have in your garden besides plants?

I have a bird bath, a 3 foot tall very heavy St Francis, a black carp, out of my six musically tuned wind chimes, I have two left, the rest were stolen, and one chatter chime (bamboo), solar lights and of course patio furniture, faux wicker.

Now that there are newer members, I am again asking what have you got in your garden, aka yard, and what has pride of place? For me it would be my St Francis. We have been together a very long time !

I have a large fountain, a small ornamental pond with fish, bird bath, wind chimes and bells, and always a squirrel digging.
The children used to like to come into my yard to feed the birds and the fish. That gave me an idea to make a larger garden and call it Creation Garden and have verses pertaining to creation along a path.
My health has put that off but now that I am reminded I might have my grandchildren do the work.
There are several heavy iron lanterns that hold candles. You want to be very aware where they are hanging in relationship to your head while working in the garden, something I don't seem to be good at.

How to find the Money point of my house according to the feng shui?

There are two different "schools of feng shui". The Eastern school uses a compass to find your Wealth area, while the Western school of feng shui orients everything from your front door.
There are many ways to enhance your feng shui to encourage wealth to grow. I don't know a lot about the Eastern method, so I will try to explain the Western method to you. In the western method, the main entry (the intended front door, not necessarily the one you use the most, as a lot of people enter side or back doors) is the mouth of chi, where the energy will come into your home. You want to make sure that the door and entry are clean and inviting. A small fountain or wind chime near your entrance are good ways to encourage chi to flow in. Also, avoid a mirror directly opposite the door, as this will cause the chi to move too quickly or even bounce back out!
As for encouraging wealth, the back left corner is a good place to enhance. Good enhancements for the area will be things that sybolize money and wealth to you, gold coins (they don't have to be real), jewelry, pictures of things that make you think of wealth, etc. Keep the area clean and clutter free. The color purple is also considered to be a good attractor for this gua.
Another thing to think about as far as feng shui and money is to keep your oven in good repair and clean. Also, keep toilet lids down and even block drains for other sinks if you want to, as they can "wash the money down the drain". If you have dripping faucets, repair them!
You can do feng shui on many levels. You can do a cure or a hundred cures, it all depends on your comfort level. You can even put a money attractor in the far left corner of every room of your house because the bagua map can be used on any space, from an entire house to a single room...even a car! Try not to take it overboard, but also keep in mind that there is no ONE thing you have to do, you can pick an idea that feels right for you and see how it works, then go from there.
Have fun....happy feng shuiing!

Feng Shui is one of the best ways to bring goodness into your life, though it only works if you believe in it with your heart. There are many symbols and many traditional Chinese items which are used in Feng Shui. Chinese vases Feng Shui are one of them.

These Chinese Feng Shui vases come in many shapes and sizes and in many colors which are important in Feng Shui. They are most beneficial in enhancement of money luck. They attract prosperity and help in maintaining it in the house. It's very important that you follow the various rules and guidelines in Feng Shui to get the best results.

Materials For Vases

The material of the vase should be in balance with all the elements of the area where the vase is supposed to be placed. For different directions, there are different materials to be used like for southwest or northeast you should use crystal and for west or northwest go for metal as it brings in the best of luck in wealth.

You can place Chinese coins and crystals and some jewelry and gold ingots or maybe some precious or semi-precious stones in it. It will help if you cover these vases with blue, green, red, yellow and white cloth and never open it again as it will help to retain the vases power. Besides keeping it covered, do hide it from the eyes of others.

Types of Feng Shui Vases

Porcelain Feng Shui vases symbolize perpetual harmony. They come in many colors such as blue. Blue is a magnificent Feng Shui color. It is connected to the healing and refreshing water and with the clear skies. The shades of blue can vary from a gentle aqua blue to the bluish green of the sea. There are also shades of blue that go into the deep indigo blue.

One of most magnificent vases is the large Ram vase with ancient Chinese characters inscribed on the face. The handles of the vase look like the horns of a Ram which happens to be one of the Chinese zodiac animals. Then there's a white and orange mother and child Chinese Feng Shui vase. You can energize your family area with this and it's very good for expecting mothers.

The triangle shaped vase with mountain and moon design with flying birds has special significance in Feng Shui. All these Chinese Feng Shui vases bring the money luck closer to you and keep them in your houses.

Similarly there are Feng Shui wealth pots that symbolize never ending good fortune and are symbols of prosperity. The Feng Shui wealth pot, as the name suggests, invites spiritual and materialistic good luck into your lives and it maintains it as well. It works as a wealth energizer and pulls lots of wealth in your house. There is an ancient practice of keeping wealth pots in homes practiced in china for several years by many rich people. It brings in lots of good fortune and loads of wealth too.

Now the question is why you should own a wealth pot? Isn't the answer obvious? Who wouldn't want wealth in their lives and would want to maintain it too? These wealth pots bring lots of good fortune in your lives so that's brings happiness too.

What's important is that you must follow all the guidelines and never open these wealth pots. They should be cleaned only on the day of the Chinese year and kept back again. So lets' bring in all the luck and let the magic begin with Chinese Feng Shui.vases

If you are wondering how to make your office more conducive so that you have a way of relaxing while you work, you should consider applying Feng Shui to your office. Having a Feng Shui office allows you to focus better and even find the balance and harmony in your life. In fact, this ancient art has been known to be very helpful in generating more income and profits for people involved in business.

Feng Shui is studied by many people nowadays. The primary rule of Feng Shui says that there is energy in everything in and around us and if we are able to harness this positive energy well, we will be able to bring about balance and harmony into the rooms we spend most of our time in.

Feng Shui is based on the five elements. They are fire, water, metal, wood and earth. Basically, to Feng Shui your office, you need to divide your office premises based on an arrangement called the Bagua.

The Bagua refers to an octagonal grid which is divided in nine sections. These nine sections of the grid include blessings area, illumination area, relationship area, elder's area, unity area, creativity area, contemplation area, journey area and the friend's area. All these represent your reputation, financial situation, relationships in all areas, your mentors, your sources of inspiration and your path through life.

To use the Bagua, you need to place the Bagua grid on the floor of the office. Next, you need to shift all the Feng Shui elements that are to be placed in your office to the appropriate positions so as to enhance these areas in your life. In laying out your office, examine the Bagua and pay attention to all the areas. This is because there should be a balance between all the areas in your life. This will keep the energy flowing into your work place and bring about almost all the things that you wish for.

Before setting up an office, you should do some research and choose an office area in a good and prosperous surrounding. Make sure the entrance looks approachable. According to Feng Shui, while sitting at your desk, you should be facing the doorway directly. Place mirrors if there are partitions in the room.

You can complement your wealth area with Feng Shui items such as placing pictures of a waterfall or putting up an aquarium or fountain. Have some green plants in the corners as suggested by the Bagua as that can help to circulate the positive energy in your room. For good fortune, put up a rooster or a phoenix or a peacock. You can place red eggs or a red ribbon tied to the three Chinese coins, a wheel or bell which spells power. Basically, you want to add some symbols of fame to your south wall and photos of water in the your area of wealth.

If you keep your office area uncluttered and clean, it will help you think more clearly and keep your mind clear too. This will increase your productivity and help you to grow faster and allow you to earn more profits and money.

Feng Shui will help you in growing to greater heights and will bring balance and harmony in your life. So the next time you want to increase productivity, try to achieve a Feng Shui office.

Where should I take these very old and rare expensive coins to get money for them? E-bay?

I have a ton of rare coins that my stepfather needs money for, like old nazi coins and japanese and chinese coins, i just need to know where i will not get ripped off. Thanks.

Ebay is good but check Ebay auctions to see what people are getting for those types of coins before you do you own auctions). The coins may be old but might not be as rare as you think.

Look in your local phone book for coin dealers and check them out. If you do go to any coin dealer, do not appear overly anxious to sell. That is when you can be taken advantage of.

Good luck.

For your Feng Shui House, you would use the Feng Shui Ba-Gua to map out the different directions in your home. Based on those eight directions of the Ba-Gua, you would then use the Lo-Pan or Feng Shui compass to find out more about which elements will go with the eight different directions. Because each element has color associated with it, then you can figure out which colors will help to promote good Chi.

Making use of the different Feng Shui colors is the easiest method for producing the different types of positive energy , which translate into marriage, health, prosperity and other things that are directed by Chi. Light is also an important part of producing Chi. As you get deeper into Feng Shui, you'll find out more about how the elements relate to the directions on the Feng Sui Ba-Gua.

The five elements

Each of the five elements is embodied by several colors. Keep in mind that different shades or hues of these colors can be used in Feng Shui House decorating.

Wood element - Browns and greens

Water element - Shades of blue and black

Fire element - deep yellows, reds, dark purples, and oranges

Earth element - Sandy shades, yellows, and light browns -

Metal element - White, silver, gray, and gold

These five elements are ruled by two cycles - the productive cycle and the destructive cycle. In the productive cycle, you will see the water element nourishing the wood element, which could then be used to create the fire element. The fire element burns and eventually produces the earth element , which goes on to become the metal element and then the metal element feeds on to the water element. This cycle goes on just like the circle of life does.

How to Feng Shui your house with these element colors

The colors of these elements also represent and boost the likelihood of certain characteristics such as abundance, health and recognition. Specific directions on the Ba-Gua deal with the elements directly. For instance, the Southeast and East are represented by the wood element.

Feng Shui room is all about creating good energy flow that bodes well in the work or living area. This means that you should use certain colors that go along with the elements of that particular direction. Particular colors may be pleasing and can be used outside the element if they are a part of that cycle. One example is red, which is a fire color and deals with an energizing Chi. If in Feng Shui House you have a configuration that is unfavorable, the color red may help turn around that negative Chi.

These colors and elements have a complex relationship. The information provided here is the mere beginning to your Feng Shui House. Feng Shui design and it's complex nature are the main reason people end up spending years studying to understand the principles behind Chinese Feng Shui.

When studying Feng Shui House to apply it to your home, you will run across the term "Chi" many times. Universal energy is represented by the word Chi. Basically this means the Chinese of long ago thought that everything - land, trees, buildings - has energy of its own.

There are two sides to Feng Shui Chi, such as yin and yang, meaning that both bad and good Chi exist. You'll also find that Chi is found in different shapes based on the five elements found in nature - metal, earth, wood, water, and fire. To take it a bit further, Chi can go beyond being broken into the elements of nature to the corresponding Feng Shui colors that embody them.

There are several goals of Feng Shui House but the most important one involves Chi, and learning how to guide it in the space where you work or live. You want good Chi in your living and work space since it feeds the spirit and keeps the flow of energy positive. The positive Chi that enlivens your environment is referred to as Sheng Chi. Where you have positive, you also have negative. This negative energy is called Si Chi and Sha Chi, meaning low, attacking, sharp, and depressing.

Sheng Chi in detail

Sheng is a word that means energy movement that is rising. So Sheng Chi is energy that is both uplifting and vibrant. This positive energy or life force is is good for your entire well being.

Sheng Chi comes in various forms, most coming from clean indoor environments or nature itself. Keep in mind, Chi refers to the energy in all things. Well, there is nothing more powerful energy-wise than thriving parts of nature like a grove of trees or the beach.

Si Chi and Sha Chi = Bad Chi

Where there is good, there is always bad. Si Chi is a type of energy that is very depressing. It can make you feel stifled, almost like you are going through a slow death. If you were in this environment for too long, you would start becoming ill.

Sha Chi refers more to the architectural elements or decorative elements on the inside or outside of your home that has a violent nature. Any structures on the outside that have points or corners pointing into the space for living or work are Sha Chi.

The main purpose behind understanding bad Chi and good Chi is so that you can use the practices of Feng Shui decorating to combat the negative, destructive energy and turn it into a cleansing, well-balanced positive energy.

Many Feng Shui consultants, who have studied Feng Sui tradition for years, will share trove of Feng Shui tips to help you balance the Sheng Chi and the Sha Chi and achieve an hospicious Feng Shui House.

Making a Feng Shui House is a several thousand year old practice that brings together the art and science of living clean. Ancient Chinese cultures believed in energy in every object, positive and negative, bad and good energy, and Chinese Feng Shui took those energies and balanced them out. If good Feng Shui has been around for such a long time, why is it becoming so popular now days?

by Clark Meyer

Designing and living in a Feng Shui House is a a very old practice that combines clean living as both an art and science. The Chinese of long ago believed in energy in every object, both good and bad, and Chinese Feng Shui took those energies and balanced them out. Since Feng Shui home has been used for so long, what has brought about the rise in popularity?

One theory of its new "hot" reputation is what you see every day in the news. All the overseas wars, the war on drugs and violence in our own neighborhood and stresses that come from our health, families, and jobs. People are seeking solutions to make their lives easier. And because their home and d?cor is able to be easily changed, more and more people are trying out Feng Shui design.

Feng Shui decorating isn't just about rearranging things in your home for harmony and balance of energy; it is also a way of life. It's neither mysticism nor some fad religion. Good Feng Shui is about well being, balance and harmony. It is a science with a lot of research behind it that is used to literally shape your world so that in each area of your life, you enjoy health and wealth. Essentially, Feng Shui House provides you with tools to bring about these changes.

Since Feng Shui brings together art and science, you will find its principles carried through all areas of these subjects from astronomy and architecture to decorating and design. In fact, the same principles that define science itself also could be applied to the ancient practice of Feng Shui cures as well.

For example, in science, you learn to look at, figure out, and describe the problem, as well as experiment to come up with a hypothesis. When it comes to Feng Shui decorating, you must look to find any problems which could disrupt the balance of your chi (energy) using tools of the trade such as a BaGua (an eight directional map) and a special compass for Feng Shui. Then, you can change the color of walls, where you place furniture and more to redirect the energies in your home for better chi.

At the heart of it all, Feng Shui is the art and science of helping people. Many people who have used good Feng Shui, even grudgingly, have made a big change and started propagating this practice. The reason is that Chinese Feng Shui has totally changed their entire life.

I have a small dragon statue(feng shui)type..Is there any particular place for keepin it?
i got this statue from singapore last year..Is there any particular place to keep it?and i have a frog statue with a coin in its mouth...tell me about that too please..

According to Ba-Gua feng shui (as in other forms), you want your dragon on the left side of your house, (as you face the front of the house looking outward). Or, at the center front for protection.

Dragons should never be placed above eye level. Also, if you want it in your workplace, it should be located behind you (as you work) for maximum benefit in your career.

The frog should be placed in the partnership area of the home, which would be the leftmost side in the rear of the home (again as you face the front, looking out.)

Account limit of 2124 requests per hour exceeded.

You can create an environment of mystical essence and influence with fantasy dragon figurines. If your a hardcore fantasy fanatic, your best bet is to get licensed D&D or LotR figurines. However, if your budget is not that much you can save 50-75% by going with a quality detailed pewter dragon figurines. Throughout many cultures, dragons may have appeared different, but they have always retained the same basic core elements.

Dragons are a symbol of power and love and when gifted to family and can fill them with loads of positive energy and power. Use them to bring enchantment to your shelves, or TV stands and even your computer desk. Bathrooms are popular place for the placement of fantasy figurines, for people born in the year of Dragon, place the Dragon on your work or study desk, in the sector between 97.5 degrees to 127.5 degrees of your house, or in the Rat or the Monkey sector (allies of Dragon) to energize your personal good wealth luck.

Fantasy collectibles and dragons all add a great touch to empty spaces in any part of your home: garden, living room, bathroom, bedroom, etc. Dragon statues can be placed in many areas of the home or office to guard, protect, bring strength and fortune, and to activate mannish energy. Dragons have played an important part in myths and religions since pre-historic times as they symbolize the strength and power.

Place a fantasy dragon sculpture in the North sector of your house to enhance your career luck. It will help you up a few prongs of your career ladder. For career luck and those seeking continuous achievement, place a Dragon figurine on the table, cabinet or in the East sector of your office or study. Your professional luck will look rosy. Dragon sculptures are pretty simple, with faceless expressions, yet, they are very powerful at conveying specific emotions - through the body language of the figurine. You can use the Dragon for the subtle art and combination of Feng Shui decorating for a more harmonious life. Individual dragon figurines can be reasonably priced - the average is under $20 and many are less than $15. If you are looking for fantasy themed, yet inexpensive gifts this holiday season, you have dragon figurines to consider and you have number of options of options to choose from.

Many people are attracted to Feng Shui and for many good reasons. While most simply believe that it is just some oriental superstitious set of ideas on interior design (but that is just part of the extensive definition for Feng Shui), the Feng Shui that we know today is actually made up of various schools of thought and incorporates the different cultures under which it was born.

A primary benefit to the varying options available in Feng Shui is that even beginners can grasp and apply it's methods with ease in their homes without having to blow the budget. Additionally, there are advantages unique to Feng Shui that can be incorporated if you're willing to learn with an open mind and willing hands.

Bringing balance is the key. Have you ever found yourself completely overwhelmed with unending junk and completely stressed out of your mind? It's likely that you are suffering from a visual imbalance in your surroundings. The best way to infuse a sense of balance is by bringing together elements that provide you with a grip of control in the outer balance of things. If you can create some semblance of balance harmony in trivial things like your furniture, you are sure to find that creating balance in other aspects of your life equally manageable.

It helps you to focus on the details. Mindfulness in the small things can be a very good thing. Many people tend to focus on the large things in life so much that even the minor details like how you arrange your home or office seem to be lost. When these "minor" aspects of life continually get put on the back burner they tend to build up and produce a stressful environment which will accumulate into other problems complicating your life.

It opens more possibilities to meet new people. Meeting new people and making new friends is another advantage applying Feng Shui in your life. When you utilize Feng Shui you'll be able to locate other persons within your social circles who enjoy similar ideas and will even help you to expand your knowledge of Feng Shui.

It gives a fresh perspective on things. At any given time, a fresh perspective is always welcome. This positive perspective can invite changes for the better. A new way of looking at home arrangement, for example, may actually serve to benefit you in the long run. The fresh perspective brought about by Feng Shui can actually bring about an enrichment of one?s mind.

Inviting success and abundance. The primary goal of Feng Shui is to invite all good possibilities into your life. Success and abundance will feel within your reach and a prosperous outlook can be expected if Feng Shui is practiced correctly.

Increased aesthetic appeal. Beyond all the listed benefits of Feng Shui, the top would surely be its natural beauty. The aesthetic appeal of a properly decorated and organized home, incorporated with good Feng Shui technique, can be a legacy that may transcend generations and promote beauty in all other aspects of your life.

by Ferdinand Okeke

There are some feng shui decorating rules that work as the basis for furniture arrangement. Thus, in order to enjoy great night rest, place the bed in a place from where you can see the entrance, so as to prevent the unwelcome forces from entering. Do not use mirrors next to the bed area since this is believed to lead to a duplication of your relationship, and you surely don't want somebody else between you and your life partner. Feng shui decorating allows you to correct the eventual inadequacies in the design of the house. Over - sized windows can be thus balanced by the proper choice of curtains.

Do you preserve things that you no longer need? It is a usual habit to store an obsolete and quite useless item on the principle of "what if I require it some day? " Specialists point out the truth that feng shui rules are obvious about how accumulated objects prevent the positive movement of energy in your life. Such usual sense life principles have the same origin with the necessity to clean our homes on a regular basis. Envisage what it's like that after a laborious day at work you come home and you find it clean and also, dinner is ready. You'll feel the positive energy running through your body nearly instantly and your disposition will change within seconds.

Feng shui decorating style adopts easy harmonious lines, it is exactly the very opposite of bombastic and obtrusive design. Too many objects in a room would obstruct the natural balance in the flow of the life force, therefore, you need to surround yourself with the useful and strictly necessary items chosen on good taste criteria. Feng shui decorating is not the same with austere house design, on the contrary, this art encourages warmth, light, beauty in nice shapes and open spaces that do not capture or break the energy. A fine and harmonious home will undeniably lay its imprint on the people who live in it, and most often improvements in all life sectors will be noticed.

Sold in many virtual stores, feng shui items are considered implements to restore a broken or slow moving energy flow that could be accountable for the things that don't go well in your life. The choice and use of feng shui items needs to be carefully guided by the use of the Ba - Gua, the octagonal grid that gives you specification of how to arrange the space according to cardinal points, colors, fundamental elements and life sectors. Thus, feng shui symbols of good fortune can be hung in various parts of the house or the office as ways to fix love life, improve career opportunities and nurture good health.

Feng shui rules have often led to the creation of taboos, and from a certain point of view they can become eternal. Clear - cut notions and truths are tough to pass since the very world of the feng shui art is not an exact science but a subtle one, relying on interpretations, peculiarities and all sorts of environmental details. While the taboos are countless, the feng shui rules allow one to organize space more conveniently and in a way that brings out the goodness. Here are a few tips on do's and don'ts as the first consequences of the correct or incorrect applications of feng shui rules.

The creation of positive flows of energy into a unique space is most easily achieved by means of feng shui colors. Each color expresses one of the five elements water, metal, wood, earth and fire; they are all represented on the color chart called Ba - Gua, together with the cardinal points and the life sectors they correspond to. Various guides for feng shui colors have been made, and they can be downloaded from various Internet sites that deal in feng shui consultancy. How does one integrate the feng shui color in the decor? Wall painting is not the only way to balance the color energy in your room: art, photography and decorations are other viable means.
